Slowly pushing up onto an elbow she placed next to his head gently. Fingers slid through his hair as he spoke, wanting to hear what he had to say. Dark eyes slipped over his face, wanting to remember every detail as he spoke and said what he said. Her other hand moved, softly slipping over his forehead, coiling just so in his hair before skirting his hairline gently.
"I finally understood that... how much you must've felt, what you must've been through." For her it had been a single journey that destroyed all notions of moral innocence she'd grown up on. How must it have been for someone that had seen all of this from the beginning to such a horrible end? "I gave you that?" She asked the question softly, her eyes smiling for her as the corners of her lips rose just a little. Because where she would save anyone in need, to know she meant that much to him felt so much warmer deep in her chest.
She could see the emotions in those brilliant blue eyes and she had to move to kiss the corners of his eyes and brush her lips softly over his lashes to ward away any sadness that she could. Smiling as she kissed his temple, she hummed a soft sound. "You are, after all, above average, Steve. Perhaps you should worry more about how the sight of London scarred my view on humanity than you." It was more a teasing statement, her smile giving way to her warmth as she tipped her head to kiss his lips.
"I can, without hesitation, say that you are right about being above average, by the way." Not that she had really ever moved on after him. But she had seen so much in the last century. And well, even if she got her chance to fight alongside 'incredible' men like Superman or Batman, she still felt like the drive and courage in Steve was just as amazing and incredible. Still, bringing that up was more meant to carry his joke and make him smile than anything else.
He couldn't say that thought comforted him. As much as he liked having things in common now, when they had been from such very different worlds then, this wasn't the kind of thing he'd have wanted them to share. A view on the world that wasn't beautiful and nearly flawless, if naïve too— that was how he remembered Diana, then. On the other hand, he knew her ideals, as commendable as they were, were also entirely unrealistic. In that sense, he was also glad she had come to learn more about the world.
He was gladder still that it hadn't been enough for her to give up on humanity entirely.
"You did," he nodded, smiling up at her. "That, and so much more." Everything. Love, life, a purpose when he couldn't find one. As much as it had ached to part from it, to turn his back on her and keep walking as if he couldn't hear her call out to him, as if he couldn't feel her eyes burning into his back. As if that alone wouldn't have been enough for him to give up and never, ever leave her, damned the consequences, if only he had looked back once.
Now he didn't have to, though. Not for any reason.
His lips curled a little in amusement, and he let out a soft laugh at her words. "Hmm, see? I told you so," he teased, tipping his head up to nip playfully at her chin.
When he'd died, she thought for a blinding moment that there was nothing left. Everything good for one single moment was gone and blinding anger had taken over. Still, it was her memories of him that pulled her back down. Cleared her mind and made her realize... there were other people noble like that. Other humans that loved and worked so hard to do the right thing. Like Sammy, Charlie, and Chief who looked so sure they were going to die.
What would have happened if those memories of him, his words, hadn't brought her back to herself? She was ashamed she fell so far even for that short moment. And part of her hoped he never had to know or see what she'd been for that short span.
Lowering her head, she pressed her forehead to his, her eyes closing slowly. Cupping the side of his face, she just drew in his warmth, the feeling of his breath against her face and the sweetness of just having him back. "This time.. try to stay alive for me this time?" It was selfish, and she knew it. But she already knew she'd have to let him go at the end of his life again. That was hard enough to come to grips with.
Just one lifetime. Just one. Let her have at the very least that. Lifting her head, she opened her eyes again to smile at the sound of his laugh. At least her teasing statement earned her what she was aiming for. "You did." Laughing softly, she smiled with a hum at the nip to her chin. "I love you." She stole another soft kiss as she whispered those words. "I regretted every minute of our time apart... never telling you that in return."
He wouldn't feel any differently about her if he were to know about it. People were flawed after all, prone to moments of weakness, in her case brought on by a deep and sudden grief. If anything it only came to show how much she cared about him, even only after knowing each other for such a short while. Made Steve feel surer too, and less like he'd just been rushing into things, falling for her too fast.
"It wasn't a matter of trying, Diana," he said softly, closing his eyes. One of his hands moved up to touch her face, the back of his fingers brushing across her cheek before he cupped it in his palm. "I didn't want to die, but I... I had to."
Someone had to stop that plane. It couldn't have been Diana, not when Ares was there, and who would have easily stopped her. If not for her keeping the god busy, Steve would have never managed to destroy that airplane. Then again, part of him wondered if Ares hadn't hoped for that kind of outcome as well, if only to make Diana suffer even more.
"It's alright,"he shook his head, kissing her lips softly, again and again. "I knew you cared. I hoped... if I lived nowhere else, then I was happy to live in your memories." And her heart. "I'm glad that I did. Or else I wouldn't be here right now."
Her hand slipped over his to press his hand more firmly to the skin and keep the hand there. Leaning into the touch, she closed her eyes and just soaked up the warm that came with it. "I know. I know you did what had to be done... Just..." She wanted to say she was stronger now. She could do it. Let her do it. But what sort of person would that make her to ask such a thing of the man she loved more than anything when she knew his heart was made of stronger things than that? Letting out a soft sigh, she finally added softly. "Just try to stay with me this time?"
If he hadn't done what he did, she knew it would have altered her view of him in some way. And maybe she loved him even more for making that hard decision no one wanted to make. A decision she may have to make someday herself. To ask him not to do something she may do herself some day would be ridiculous. Still, a sudden smile flit over her lips as she smiled. "I have a reason to come back now." The idea was such a marvel it suddenly made her huff a soft laugh and she smiled even brighter.
She hadn't even realized how much she'd wanted that feeling. Before she'd simply thought if she died in battle she not only did what was necessary, but she'd also see him again. It made her feel lighter and so very much alive. Leaning down into his kiss, she hummed a happy sound against his lips.
"You have been in my heart, Steve. Etched so strongly I knew you would never fade away." How else would she have been able to draw him from the holds of her uncle? Even he seemed impressed by the strength of Steve's spirit after so many years. Staying quiet a moment, she leaned in and dropped a kiss to his lips again still smiling warmly. "Welcome home." Not a building. Not a place. But to her and her embrace. And hopefully he knew exactly what she meant.
Despite the reasons that led her to asking that of him, Steve had to smile at the request. His thumb brushed across her cheek, the pad just lightly ghosting along the tips of her perfect eyelashes. God, she was beautiful. He was sure he wouldn't spend a waking moment of this new life of his without thinking about her. "I'll stay with you. I promise."
Maybe it was a promise he couldn't keep, not completely, but he did it anyway. If only because he would do everything within his power to make sure he'd keep his word, and try his best to avoid any situation that might take that power of decision from him.
Besides, there was no war now, and Steve didn't intend to be a solider again. The same dangerous situation likely wouldn't present itself. Not the kind to demand such a difficult decision and deadly sacrifice from him.
Wrapping his arms strongly around her, he held her close and tight, returning each and every kiss, leaning in for a last one that lingered. He was almost unwilling to part, even if he knew they would have to. Eventually. "Happy to be home." At last, a sentiment he truly understood, likely for the first time in his life. "Should we go shower now?" He only asked right now because he knew it wouldn't involve them putting much distance between each other.
"Thank you." She said the words quietly, her head leaning into his touch as her lashes lowered nearly completely at the feeling of each brush and caress. Letting out a soft sigh, she gave a gentle little hum before adding with equal severity but so much warmth. "I promise, too." Because she could no more ask him such a thing if she would not give in equal parts. She never wanted him to feel as thought it weren't.
Taking a deep breath, she smiled again his lips and returned every kiss warmly with so much love and affection. Leaning closer, she nuzzled into his cheek and just for a moment she completely settled on top of him, her nose bumping the shell of his ear gently as she soaked him in.
Her smile stayed clear and warm on her lips as he asked that question, only making it wider. "We likely should." One set of fingers came to rest high on his chest, the tips rising to glide from his chin down the curve of his throat softly. She didn't want to get up, but he wanted a shower and now that they had gotten intimate, she knew it really was necessary now. Breathing out a gentle sigh, she finally pushed herself back up into a sitting position still straddling him.
Catching both of his hands, she kissed his knuckles and palms before letting them go so she could slip off the bed. Half turning, she let her eyes run over him before finding his eyes once more. Without a word, she offered her hand to him, waiting for him to join her.
"I should hope so," he shot back in a partly teasing tone, lips quirking lightly in amusement. It was one topic he was glad to move past, though he knew it was a conversation that was necessary. But right now he just wanted to enjoy this. Being close to her, getting to enjoy their reunion, all the while not having to worry about some looming war or dangers approaching with the rising sun.
Steve felt freer than he could ever remember, at peace and with a whole life he had never even dreamt for himself. Thousands of mornings for them to have breakfast together, to read the newspaper. Anything else she might want to do with him.
Sighing softly at the touch of her fingers, his eyes blinked lazily as he watched her sit up, then move off the bed. His lips curled into a warm smile, and he lingered on the bed himself for a few seconds longer before he followed after, getting to his feet and stepping closer so he could wrap his arms around her waist instead, following her into the bathroom.
When he wrapped around her, all she could do was smile and huff a soft laugh. Diana knew one thing was certain as she pulled him into the shower, she planned to enjoy the entirety of their first night back together. Something she very well did live up to and just maybe she didn't let him get nearly as much sleep as he likely needed. But then, when they did fall asleep tangled up in each other, it was the best sleep she'd had in years.
Diana just might have slept later, but a soft chime from her phone pulled her from her the comfortable depths of sleep. Shifting against the warmth of his form against her, she slowly blinked her eyes open until she could focus on the lines of his face. Rather than reach for her phone, Diana took a moment to watch the way the morning light slipping through the curtains slid over his features and illuminated angles and curves of his face. His hair was a mess, something that made her eyes light up in amusement as she reached up to softly smooth it. The lighter blonde in his hair picked up the light, almost illuminating the strands in a halo effect. It nearly made her reach for her phone if only to get a picture of Steve in this moment.
Because if she were honest with herself, Steve right now, looked absolutely gorgeous and utterly... peaceful.
Shifting in his arms, she managed to move just enough so she could raise up on her elbow. Bending closer, she kissed a temple before drawing her lips over his skin to kiss sweetly at the corner of his eye. She could feel the soft lines where the skin crinkled when he smiled and it sent a wave of warmth through her just thinking about it. The feeling pulled at the corners of her own lips till she couldn't help a tiny smile. Shifting again, she left another kiss to the bridge of his nose before dipping lower to caress his cheek with her lips.
She more than lived up to it, really. After the novelty that had been the modern shower, Steve had happily jumped back into bed with Diana, and... well, suffice to say she exhausted him to his last bit of energy and then some. He couldn't even remember the last time he felt this worn out, but it was a happy and blissful feeling too, for a change. Steve had fallen sleep nearly the instant they had tuckered in for the night and he'd closed his eyes, a deep and dreamless kind of sleep like he couldn't remember having in years.
Not even the soft chime stirred his sleep, though it should, if nothing else for being a completely strange and foreign sound to him. He was too tired to even make note of it, and even as Diana moved softly beside him, his mind was clearly reluctant to be pulled from its state of deep peaceful rest.
But then she started planting soft little kisses on him, and while it might not have been his intention, that alone was enough to pull him gently towards the surface. His breath shifted into something not quite so slow or silent first, then he let out a soft sigh, and eventually, after a while of debating whether he should just tug her close and get her to fall back asleep, he cracked his eyes open a hint.
Not that he saw much of anything, just the blur of her silhouette before he closed them again. His voice was a low, drawn-out mumble, as he curled his arm around her and shifted close. "Don't tell me you're ready for another round..." Because, as she could likely tell, he was not.
Watching him slowly wake up made her stop a moment even after she kissed the corner of his lips lightly. Leaning back, she watched his eyes open just a bit, instantly noting that beautiful sliver of blue that looked even more vivid against his dark lashes. It was almost a shame when he closed them again, but she understood why. She truly had worn him out.
Something Diana just might have been a little proud over if the slight pull at one corner of her lips gave anything away about her feelings on the matter.
When he finally spoke, she huffed a soft laugh and this time she purposely kissed his lips in a brief brush of contact. "No. You need to rest. You just look... lovely right now." Like a work of art in her mind. Humming softly, she finally reached over him to grab her phone off of the bedside table then settled back into the pillows. For a moment, she dropped the device on the mattress beside her so she could coerce and pull Steve into her arms until his head came to rest on her chest.
A set of nimble fingers threaded through his hair gently, the fingernails lovingly trailing over his scalp. "I'm sorry I woke you." That hand stayed in his hair, sometimes trailing down the back of his neck and along his spine before reversing and climbing back up to bury in his hair again. Still, she picked up her phone with the other hand and turned it on. The message was from Bruce like she expected, probably 'working late' again. The message was a brief mentioning of a time he would call her later. Typing a quick 'thank you' in reply, she dropped it back on the bed so she could use that hand to trace over the shell of his ear.
Diana hoped her touch was soothing and not disrupting his rest, but she just couldn't stop herself from touching him right then.
He was still tired enough that very little roused him from his sleepy state. Still, he welcomed Diana's warm touches and sweet kisses, his own lips curling into a soft happy smile as he got to feel her warmth so close to him. He needed no urging whatsoever to curl up close to her, his head settling on the nook of her shoulder, practically as if he were hiding in the safety of that spot.
Were he any more awake, he might've seen her fumble with the phone, then no doubt a myriad of questions about the device would come to mind. He hadn't really noticed it the previous night, and it would be a marvel for him to see her use it at all. Instead he just waited with his eyes closed until she finished whatever it was she was doing, then he let out a happy little sigh when she turned her attention back to touching him instead.
Evidently he wasn't about to complain about that. Even as tired and lazy as he felt, he thoroughly enjoyed every single touch of hers, his body relaxing even further and practically turning into a puddle as she caressed his skin. Her fingers rounding the shell of his ear had him shivering softly, as he let out an audible and shaky sigh, his arm draped around her waist curling a little tighter. "That feels so good."
Turning her head, she pressed a lingering kiss to his hairline, eyes falling closed for a moment. Fingers twirled gently in his hair before she pressed the pads against his scalp just barely to run down over the soft skin. there had been other messages on the phone. She'd likely slept through them all while still exhausted, but they were simply those from work. A reminder that she needed to get them back to Paris before she'd been gone too long.
But it could wait. The world could just wait while she pulled Steve back into this reality where things were so much different than he would remember them. Though, even that could wait as she held him close and just enjoyed his nearness against her. She could feel the pulse under his skin, against her chest and under her fingers while just breathing him in. The scent she'd nearly forgotten came tumbling back to her like a wave of pure happiness and nostalgia.
Though, she didn't miss the way his breathing changed as she touched his ear, or the way he held on tighter. It only served to broaden the smile on her lips. "Does it?" She whispered the words into his hair, repeating the touch slow and light along the lobe. She really shouldn't tease him. He needed to sleep. And if she tried, she could likely doze a little longer. But for now, she just wanted to touch him and enjoy the slide of his skin under her fingers.
Her hand smoothed down the line of his shoulders and along his bicep after pulling from his ear. She traced the lines of muscle and definition before sweeping back up to cup the side of his neck so her thumb could roll down the fluttering pulse in his throat. Exhaling a soft sigh of her own, she let her eyes fall closed. "I think I could touch you like this all day if I could."
Well, to be fair he wasn't complaining. He certainly hadn't told her in a tone that implied he wanted her to stop— rather the opposite, actually. Still, she managed to pull him into a strange state where he balanced between being more awake and more relaxed, attuned to her touches while being entirely pliant and soft against her.
When she repeated the touch, another shiver rolled down his spine, and he arched and shifted closer as he let out another shaky sigh. It dissolved into a low and long purr, almost as if he were a cat being petted and enjoying every moment of it.
"Mm..." he mumbled something, nuzzling against her skin. His eyes still closed, he pressed soft aimless pecks to what of her skin he could reach. "Well, I don't have any other plans for the day. So..."
Diana knew it was a moot point to leave him alone and let him sleep now. She could feel him react to each of her touches and she'd be lying if she said she didn't like his reactions. Turning her head, she kiss over the hairline in soft butterfly kisses as her fingers swept his bangs back. She missed how soft his hair felt in her fingers and they way his skin slid so smoothly under her touch.
The hand cupping his neck stayed there, continuing the soft sweeps of her thumb along the line of his throat again and again. The other set of fingers smoothed through his hair and down the line of his neck to once more glide down his back. But this time when she came back up, she traced soft nonsensical patterns sometimes mixed with runes that spelled out affections for him. Sweet nothings that she would speak, but this felt easier and gave her a reason to draw her fingers over his skin.
"You may not, but I need to get you some clothes." Diana smiled at the words, remembering when he said the same thing to her so many years ago. "And food. Since I didn't buy much for the kitchen here, we'll have to eat out." Though, it was really hard to be logical with him when he was running his lips over her like that even in a small area of her skin. "Mmm... but you're making it hard to want to get any of that done."
Well, he sure wasn't going to manage to fall back asleep now, so he didn't even try. Still, that didn't mean he was planning on opening his eyes, getting up or being functional anytime soon, and he continued to be a warm and heavy presence settled against her side, one leg hooked over her own.
Her soft touches sent little shivers through him, quiet thrills of energy that weren't nearly enough to arouse him, but still enough to make him more awake than sleepy. He huffed at her words, letting out a soft, lazy laugh against her skin, lips curling into a grin as he remembered their time in London, and her state of dress— or undress, as was the case. True, though, he was the one in that situation now.
However, it was the mention of food that got his attention the most. His stomach growled softly, and he let out a soft purr, nuzzling and kissing her skin almost lazily. "Now you mention it, I am pretty hungry."
Shifting just a little to press closer to him and hug him to her form, she managed to kiss into his hair and linger there a moment. Not that she wanted him to move. She loved the heavy warmth of his body and knew well that getting up and untangling from him would be very hard to do because she didn't want to move. Even if they walked close and held hands, it just wasn't the same as this full contact and the intimacy of the moment.
Which was why she continued to enjoy the slide and gentle brushes of her fingers over his body. Any where she could reach in her position, she traced and memorized with agonizing slowness and often times repeating the soft motions to get a better knowledge. It made her sigh happily as she let her eyes stay closed so she could listen to his breathing and his voice.
Though, the grumble of his stomach caused a soft laugh to bubble up from her chest. Grinning to herself she carded her fingers through his hair slowly. A motion that slowed when he kissed her skin again and nuzzled like that. Shivering, her fingers tightened just vaguely in his hair. "If you want to eat, that means you're going to have to get up. Because even if I ordered take-out and someone delivered this early, I'd still have to dress and answer the door." Not that she seemed all that eager to push him off or her and get moving. In fact, she simply loosened her fingers and resumed smoothing them through his hair in gentle strokes.
Another chuckle spilled from his lips when she laughed, slow and languid, more at his own expense than anything. It was such a sweet sound when it came from her, though, he could feel it spill warmth right into him, making his insides flutter with more happiness than any man should ever be allowed to feel.
"I wouldn't mind answering the door without any clothes on," he offered, not at all serious. He'd probably combust if he did that. Diana walking in on him while he was climbing out of that magical glowing fountain had been awkward enough as it was, and the only reason he'd managed not to embarrass himself completely was because she seemed perfectly at ease with nudity. Even when she had never seen a man naked before.
Finally, and with a soft, drawn-out groan, he started to move, lazy and slow motions as he propped his weight onto his elbows, crawling up a bit so the upper half of his torso was hovering above her somewhat. "We'll go in a bit," he agreed finally, leaning down to kiss her. A soft lick and a gentle nip at her lower lip, he let his mouth ghost close to hers, their breaths warm as they mingled together again. He opened his eyes, looking into hers. "I want to make love to you first."
"Mm, you wouldn't?" She didn't believe him. Not even a little bit. She'd watched him try to nonchalantly cover up as quickly as he could without drawing more attention than necessary to his own form that first time she saw him. Not that it mattered the second time, but that time he wanted to be seen. She didn't think a complete stranger would get that kind of confidence. However, "I don't know if I'd like that." Because were she was fine with nudity, something in her said he was hers to look at.
Just hers.
Angling her head a little, she watched him move and slowly lift himself up she he could look at her. Really, the entire effort was adorable, but she kept her amusement to her gaze and the smallest smile twitching at the corner of her lips. Giving him a curious look, she hummed at the 'in a bit' before tipping her head to kiss him in return. Both of her hands moved to cup his head and tangle in his hair as he kissed her making her lips tingle with the contact and the warm brush of his breath against her skin.
She didn't even realize her eyes had fallen closed until he said those words to her. Blinking them open to fine sea blue eyes, she smiled slow and soft, her hand moving to caress the side of his face. "Thought you were too tire for another round, Steve." Not that she was complaining, but she loved that he wanted to 'make love' and part of her really just wanted to swept away in that. "But I am yours, and I always want you."
He let out a hum, not particularly surprised by her answer. He wasn't at all serious in any case, but it was always nice to know she liked keeping him for herself, and didn't want him parading around in the nude for anyone else. He didn't either, obviously. "Mm, since you insist... I guess no one else will be graced with the glorious sight of my naked backside."
It was a pretty great backside, just saying. He wiggled his hips almost pointedly as he said that.
Kissing her slow and soft, he looked into her eyes as she opened them, lids dropping lower over his own blue ones, eyelashes just barely brushing against his cheeks before he opened them a little wider again. "I was, but then you happened." He was far more awake now, and he knew that if they were to get out of this bed, that wasn't going to happen until he got to feel her one more time. Enough to last them the hours they'd be spending out in public, unable to touch each other. Well, hopefully.
Shifting around so he was lying on top of her, he framed his hips between her legs, nudging lightly so she'd part them for him. His lips ghosted across her cheek, then behind her ear, slowly mouthing along the curve of her neck. He wasn't hard yet but he could feel the arousal already starting to build, and with her this warm and close to him, it was but a matter of time.
"I do insist and thank you." She nearly chirped the words in a sing song way, pleased at his words. "But isn't it the same?" In the same way, he would be the only one allowed to see her that way. Tipping her head a little, she laughed as he wiggled his hips. So she slid her hands down his back, purposely cupping said back side and squeezed it softly.
She might have continued to laugh and possibly shake her head at him, but instead she started to drift off in the feeling of his lips on hers. Breathing out a sweet sound, she ran her eyes over his face, stopping on his eyes they opened wider so she could truly sink into the depths of the blue of his eyes. She had never met anyone that could possibly get to her the way that he did. The way those eyes just drew her in. "I happened?" The smile overtook her face again as she repeated those words.
Her legs gently slid apart welcoming Steve to slip between them. Turning her head to move with that touch she couldn't stop from gasping and letting her eyes fluttered closed. Her hands moved up to press against the line of his back, nails biting into the skin just enough to leave little half moons in his skin. Curling her legs up, her thighs brushed along his until her feet trailed along his calves. "How do you want me, Steve?"
"Well, I should hope so. I wouldn't very much like some sort of double standard here." And he damn well didn't want anyone else seeing her naked, so there was that. Not that Diana couldn't manage to pull off looking absolutely fierce and menacing even without a stitch on, but... he wanted that sight to be for his eyes only.
"You happened," he murmured with a soft lilt, grinning as he licked and kissed gently at her lips. To be fair, she happened and... his whole life was changed. Even if only for those few days, even if she hadn't been able to bring him back. She had changed him, something that not even death itself could have changed back.
Head bending lower as he kissed down her neck, he moved softly, hips shifting in a slow roll as he pressed down against her, gasping warmly as his shaft rubbed right along her slit. She felt heavenly, and after having some rest, he knew it would be a matter of seconds before he was ready to take her again. "Like this... I want you just like this." Close, slow, warm, gentle. No rush whatsoever as he did truly make love to her.
"I hope that is a good thing." Diana couldn't help but smile at him, a light in her eyes letting him know that she knew it was. Lifting up to press into that kiss, she smoothed both hands over his face gently, fingers tangling into his hair as she pulled him closer. And honestly, he changed her just as much or even more. Inspired her... gave her reasons to move forward and do the right thing.
Part of her wanted to say that, but none of it mattered when Steve started that slow descent down her neck. Lashes fluttered closed slowly as her lips parted to breathe in. Shivering, her fingers flexed in his hair and scraped along the soft skin of his scalp. When he rolled against her, she gasped sharply and gave a low mewling sound as he awakened all the nerves and desire in the pit of her stomach.
Thighs flexed and tightened against his hips as she rolled up into him slow and languid. "Like this..." The words came out soft and breathless as one hand smoothed down his back, fingernails dragging down his spine. "I want you like this, too..." She hummed a low sound of want before turning her head to kiss into his hair and softly nip his ear. Slow and easy, languid and sweet as her body moved with his almost in sync.
They'd have time now. Time for warm words whispered softly in the night, sweet nothings spilled like honey into each other's ears. Steve knew a second chance when he saw one, and this was the only second chance he'd have never dared even dream of, so he was going to seize it and cling with every ounce of strength in him. He'd tell her all the feelings she'd flourished in him, all the ways in which she had changed him and made him better, all the things that he got to have and experience only because he had her in his life— he would exhaust every word in the dictionary until the last of his breath, and he wouldn't tire of a single one.
But it could wait. It was a strange yet freeing feeling; that this could wait. They could kiss and touch, and they could move against one another, purge all thought from their minds and surrender to each other and to only the feeling of pleasure and ecstasy of being near, and after all that, there would still be time for more. For everything else they could ever want.
Steve sighed warmly against her skin, eyes fluttering closed as he moved again. His body arched and pressed down against her, shiver turning to moan as his cock rubbed against her, hardening steadily at the feel of her folds molding to his length. He slid one hand down her side, brushing briefly over her breast, before reaching lower still and curling around her thigh.
Fingers flexing sharper into Steve's back, Diana's body arched and and rolled against him as she felt the way his length slid over her. It sent a swell of heat between her legs and she could feel the pleasure of the contact increase each time he moved against her. She couldn't remember wanting something so much. Not even just the sexual pleasure, but the connection that she felt when Steve touched her. When he looked at her or said her name.
Breathing in sharply as his hand brushed over her breast and finally curled about her thigh. Shivering and exhaling a needy sound, she wrapped her arms more securely about him and pulled him closer as she rocked up against him with aching slowness, increasing the friction with her movements. Gods, but she loved this. This slow building burn in her veins caused by him.
"Steve..." She breathed his name out, turning her face to press into the side of his neck before kissing his shoulder and nipping softly there. Breathing in slowly, she smoothed her lips up the curve of his neck slowly and dropped a kiss to his jaw. He fit. He fit against her like nothing ever could. It made so many years alone feel like only yesterday. Pressing closer against him, she closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath as the feelings of relief, love, and pain came together in such a stinging but wonderful way. "I need you..."

"I think I could touch you like this all day if I could."
no subject
When she repeated the touch, another shiver rolled down his spine, and he arched and shifted closer as he let out another shaky sigh. It dissolved into a low and long purr, almost as if he were a cat being petted and enjoying every moment of it.
"Mm..." he mumbled something, nuzzling against her skin. His eyes still closed, he pressed soft aimless pecks to what of her skin he could reach. "Well, I don't have any other plans for the day. So..."

"How do you want me, Steve?"
no subject
No rush whatsoever as he did truly make love to her.
no subject

He slid one hand down her side, brushing briefly over her breast, before reaching lower still and curling around her thigh.
no subject
